Amongst all this bracelet making (the next one is almost finished btw!) I'm thinking about lots of cute things I can make for my little girl Jessica. I can't wait to make her room all colourful and full of happy! One thing I've started on is a little pillow in the shape of a house, which I've wanted to make ever since I saw the one above at a craft fair last year. And when I say "started on" I mean I've chosen the fabric - thrifted pink napkins! - and stared at them for a while to conjour up a design ;)
I ended up online searching for house pillow inspiration late last night and fell in love with a few things, as you do ...
^ These adorable house pillows I found HERE and were made by LeiLiLaLoo on Etsy. I thought it was clever to do "interiors" (all the others I looked at used the "outsides" of houses as the design) and I love how she's used sweet details like little bookshelves and flower garlands!
^ This one caught my eye because of the cute little washing line :) I love tiny washing lines! (It's for sale on etsy here) The knitted roof is a nice feature too.
I'm still not entirely sure what I want Jessica's little house pillow to look like. I think I'll have to have a little sketchbook session to figure it out :)
