I've got so much sewing done over the last few days! Scott's off work so I'm actually finding time to go upstairs to my little studio. I'm loving it :)
Above is a "before" peek at the bag I finished up today. Purty colours! I used a mixture of all those pink threads to make it - I'm down to odds and ends now, I really need to buy more supplies.
Below are two I made over friday/saturday and sold saturday afternoon:
Photo take by my little boy, haha! I did attempt it myself but could only get the straps in the shot. A tripod is on the want list :) And a hair-trim - don't look at my split ends!
These bags were made from off-cuts of curtains that Scott's sister had me take up for her. There was so much fabric left over that we had the genius idea of making her a bag out of it - her partner actually paid me to make her a new bag weeks ago and we still hadn't got round to deciding on a design, so this was perfect!
I made two as there was enough fabric. One is slightly bigger than the other and one strap is a bit wider - I showed her both so she could choose then ended up selling the other one to her teenage step-daughter - it's now her back-to-school bag! AND THEN her other step-daughter decided she wanted one of my designs too and bought this one from my etsy shop:
So that was a good day! (BIG SMILEY FACE)
