Last saturday I went for lunch/thrifting/shopping with Mum and these are the goodies I came home with:
A lovely and soft long-sleeved top (which looks more sea-foam green in real life than in the photo) and a swirly black skirt, both from charity shops, and just some turquoise nail polish and a facemask from the chemist. Oh and my mum bought me the little card because I loved the hearts on the washing line!
This is a work-in-progress pic of a custom bag for one of Scott's friends:
And finally a shot of my "alteration pile" - clothes that are too big or too boring. I want to do some freezer-paper stenciling, embroidery, appliques, cutting up and sewing back together to this lot:
I got them all out because I'm taking part in the group blog handmakemeover and my second post is long overdue! I really want to get in shape quickly so I can do before and after photos with them on rather than laying all limp on a table! (Reason I need to get my arse in gear no.876487).
I've got a busy weekend ahead - Karaoke night tomorrow and a Gangsters and Molls fancy dress party on Saturday. Recovering from the rareness of two nights out in a row on Sunday I guess!
