An entire wall is damp and making mould! A crap start to the new year. I had to pile all my stuff in the corner yesterday so it doesn't get ruined - which is annoying after all that time I spent putting it together. We're waiting to hear from the landlord about getting it sorted, but that's put a dampener of my new productive-me sewing schedule!
So rather than sulking I'll give more time to this blog and do lots of photography and illustration until the walls get fixed. I'm still illustrating the knickers tutorial - sorry if anyone's waiting but it will be worth it, it's looking cute! (Lesson learned: do things first, mention them on blog afterwards).
Here are some pics from yesterday...
My ridiculous collection of wooden things to be painted up - shelving, storage boxes, what was once a speaker, mirrors and frames of all sizes. All thrifted or found! I need to set aside a a few days to get it all painted once and for all.
My mum brought me this for xmas! It's so pretty.
Scott brought me that little egg for xmas - all crafty/inspiring photos from my computer are loaded onto it and it displays them as a huge slideshow. I call it my "Inspirational Egg" .
I needed to hang my washing line of postcards up far away from the damp wall so I strung it up messily over my finger knitted garland that was already up - - ended up with a pretty cool display!
And a close up of the garland.
I felt like doing black and white to match the mood! I'll put the colour versions of some of these on flickr.
