I LOVE how organised you are with your shopping! Such a great idea.

I only have books on my thrift list! Anything that looks like an interesting read.

I just found your blog through a comment at iCiNG. I adore it so far and have been clicking through many, many entries. :)

But back to the topic of thrifting... I know this will sound silly, but how do you find good and affordable thrift stores in your area? I can't seem to find the happy medium between a total junk shop and designer (read: wildly expensive) "thrift."

Julianna - The best ones are messy and stink of moths and old people! Seriously, they're usually the cheapest, you just have to rummage about a bit more.

But it all depends what you're looking for really. I think you just have to visit all the thrift stores in your area a few times to know whether they're any good (for you)or not :)

I love looking at dresses in a really good vintage stores. :) Accessories are also high on my list, it's nice to have necklaces that aren't being mass distributed!

Awesome list! You really don't need much to have fun :)

I didn't know it was called thrifting outside the US (it's thrifting in Canada) we don't have car boot sales. That much I know for sure and on the west coast we don't have stoop sales.
