Old calendars make new wall art!

Mum bought me this gorgeous "Fairies" calendar by Stephen Mackey for xmas a couple of years ago:

Yesterday I found it and decided to cut it up to make use of the pretty pictures! I took it apart and ended up with some freaky fairies:

So I "cropped" them with scizzors:

And stuck my favourite ones up on the wall with rolled up bits of masking tape (it's easy to peel off and doesn't leave greasy marks like blue tack....and it was the only sticky stuff I had left!) , evenly spaced apart:

I think they'd look really nice in frames, but I'm already collecting thrifted frames for another project. Mum got me the 2009 calender too so next year when that's used up I'll have a enough fairies to fill up a small wall!
